How is Profhilo® different from traditional Dermal Fillers?
Traditional dermal fillers use cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid to add physical volume, contour cheekbones, or plump lips. Profhilo® contains non-cross-linked HA that spreads like a liquid honey underneath the skin. It does not alter your facial shape—instead, it acts as a bio-remodeller, stimulating collagen and elasticity across the entire face.
Is the procedure painful? Is there any downtime?
The procedure is very quick and well-tolerated. We use ultra-fine needles for the 5 BAP injection points per side. You may notice small, mosquito-bite-like bumps at the injection sites immediately afterward. These bumps typically settle within 24 to 48 hours as the product diffuses naturally into the tissues.
How many sessions will I need, and how long do results last?
